• Proactively source acquisition opportunities through outbound outreach including cold calling, email, and Linked In
• Identify and engage founders, CEOs, and owners of software and technology-enabled businesses
• Execute structured outreach cadences and refine messaging based on feedback
• Initiate and qualify early-stage conversations, booking meetings for senior M&A leaders
• Maintain CRM hygiene in Salesforce, including activity tracking and pipeline management

• 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, M&A origination, or high-volume outbound roles
• Proven ability to engage senior decision-makers and handle objections effectively
• Strong interest in M&A, corporate development, and software or SaaS businesses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and urgency

• Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), Linked In, and outbound sequencing tools
• Business acumen and a problem-solving mindset; financial literacy is a plus
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
