PositionBusiness Development Manager – Germany on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities- Developing and creating detailed profiles of the assigned markets and market segments (including Germany).
- Review and development of new prospects and commercial projects.
- Collaboration with product management, R&D, and quality assurance in the development of new projects and opportunities.
- Maintaining and expanding relationships and business with existing customers.
- Responsibility for developing and aligning customer strategy and activation plans.
- Preparing proposals, negotiating prices, and providing business solutions to effectively close sales.
- Reviewing all available internal data to track and monitor financial and operational performance, including but not limited to volume and profitability data.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in food/nutrition science or sales & marketing with a technical background, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in customer service, ideally in areas related to the Glanbia portfolio.
- Excellent verbal and written German and English skills, other languages an advantage.
- Confident use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Experience with Linked In and other social media platforms and confident use of these.
- Strong commercial understanding and ambition to develop and expand new business areas.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
