Underwriting Support Specialist II

• Generate accurate manual rates for group insurance products, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines
• Review quote submissions to ensure all required information has been provided and follow up on missing details
• Ensure accurate formatting of census data and extract key information for rating purposes
• Collaborate with Underwriting to meet turnaround times based on broker due dates
• Provide support during high-volume transaction periods and assist with building new business proposals and renewals

• High school diploma or GED required
• 0-2 years of experience in customer service and/or employee benefits, or equivalent college-level coursework
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft applications such as Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as Salesforce
• Availability to work between 5:00 am and 5:00 pm PST, with flexibility for non-standard shifts as needed
