About the RoleThe Business Development Lead will be responsible for promoting, building, developing, and growing the business pipeline in line with our business and growth strategy.
Responsibilities- Generate new business / new opportunities from existing and new customers.
- Develop Business Plan and strategy for adding completely new products in our product portfolio.
- Conceptualize new applications and solutions by converting customers' needs into business opportunities which are within the technical capabilities of the organization.
- Build & grow opportunity and sample pipeline.
- Ensure smooth transition of new commercial business from BD to sales team, after first commercial order.
- Explore combo deal projects with synergy with ACG group companies.
- Interact with pharma R&D teams / stakeholders to understand their formulations / packaging needs & advise on choosing the right packaging film/foils.
- Organize technical seminars by involving various stakeholders at customer end to generate business opportunity and differentiation.
- Implement Stage gate process internally while introducing new structures / products into opportunity pipeline.
Experience:
4-6 years in packaging industry (Pharma packaging experience would be an extra advantage)
Job location:
Work from home to field (Any location in North America will do)
U.S. citizens/Green card holders only
Required Skills- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the packaging industry, specifically with packaging films and foils.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging requirements.
