Remote Credit Reporting Manager

In this role, you will serve as the central operational lead for all credit reporting activities, acting as the primary liaison between various internal teams and external reporting partners. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing credit reporting processes while promoting system improvements.

• Act as the primary relationship manager with third-party reporting partners, managing escalations and issue resolution.
• Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders about external reporting requirements, expectations, and timelines.
• Perform data pulls and validations to support credit reporting issue resolution.
• Partner with internal teams to understand data flows and identify root causes of issues.
• Track and document issue trends to prioritize engineering and process improvements.
• Assist the credit disputes team in resolving customer disputes accurately and timely.
• Maintain knowledge of bureau reporting standards and operational dependencies.

• 3–5+ years of experience in credit reporting operations, payments, lending, or financial services.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work with data and tools (e.g., SQL) for validation and investigation.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with credit reporting standards (Metro 2, FCRA) and dispute processes.
