Your missionReporting to the Senior Manager, Global Commercial Operations, you will be directly responsible for managing all aspects of contracts, tenders and RFPs, ensuring timely, compliant, and high‑quality proposals. We are seeking a motivated, experienced, detail‑oriented individual to join our commercial team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in deal desk operations, fluency in French and English (other languages are a plus), and the ability to work under tight timelines in a fast‑paced environment.
You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to our Sales and leadership teams‑balancing speed, compliance, and profitability while delivering value‑based proposals that meet customer needs and business objectives.
This role requires strong cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Legal, Finance, Compliance, Regulatory, Information Security, Product, and Scientific teams to deliver value‑based proposals that meet both customer requirements and internal governance standards.
The value you bring- Manage the end‑to‑end deal desk process, including contracts, tenders, and RFPs.
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, Compliance, Regulatory, Information Security, Product, and Scientific teams to develop high‑quality, value‑based proposals.
- Review and ensure all proposals and contracts comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk‑management standards.
- Act as a central point of contact for deal structuring, pricing approvals, and contractual negotiations.
- Maintain deal documentation, track approvals, and ensure timely submission of all tenders and RFP responses.
- Provide guidance to sales teams on proposal processes, pricing, and contract templates.
- Analyze and report on deal metrics, trends, and opportunities to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Lead coordination of public tender submissions, ensuring documentation accuracy, pricing validation, and alignment with company strategy, value proposition, and regional procurement requirements.
- Oversee pricing governance, including discount frameworks, and approval matrix.
- Ensure deals comply with internal policies, audit standards, and revenue‑recognition requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the deal desk function, including process optimization and automation.
- Champion adoption of CPQ and automation tools to accelerate deal turnaround and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, or commercial operations, managing contracts, tenders, and RFPs.
- Fluency in French and English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Strong understanding of value‑based selling, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally across multiple teams and disciplines.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Salesforce and CPQ systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfort navigating stakeholder dynamics and influencing decisions across departments.
