Who We Are Looking For
Reporting to the Director of Revenue Management, the Revenue Specialist will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management and data analysis of 33%–50% of the company’s properties on the Veritec revenue management platform. Duties include rate management, setting discounts and specials, serving as the main point of contact with Regional Managers and Directors on rate‑management topics, and assisting with all stages of property onboarding.
The specialist will continuously build expertise in rate management and the Veritec platform.
- Take on day‑to‑day responsibility of over 50 properties already on the Veritec platform.
- Remain aware of all properties within the Veritec platform.
- Manage rates of each property, on average once per week; frequency varies by location category.
- Regularly analyze multiple data points and use data to influence rate changes.
- Occasionally complete manual competitor shops via phone.
- Lead monthly rate increase initiatives for properties.
- Engage with Property & Operational Supervisory teams to onboard locations, manage daily rates, and set discounts/specials.
- Communicate regularly to maintain awareness of property‑specific knowledge.
- Engage with clients regarding rate‑management questions and attend regional manager meetings as needed.
- Lead quarterly property team training on predetermined rate‑management topics.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold the company's core values.
- Assist Director of Revenue Management with onboarding of new properties at three stages:
Competition, Value Pricing, Tenant Rates. - Assist in continuous development of the Veritec program, including web rates, discounts, auction units, expansions, etc.
- Attend weekly Core Team Connect meetings.
- Attend bi‑weekly Revenue Management meetings.
- Periodic travel to onboard locations and manage rates.
- Quarterly travel to meet with Revenue Management team.
- Semi‑annual travel for operations meetings.
This role is remote, but candidates must be located in one of our current states of operation: AL, AR, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, LA, MO, MS, NC, OH, SC, TN, VA. Travel by car or airplane up to 25%. Travel away from home for up to one week at a time may be requested.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or an analytical field preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of rate management experience or related field highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Background screening conducted at time of hire.
