About the RoleThe Corporate Development team at Hims & Hers is responsible for managing all of the company’s mergers & acquisitions, partnerships, and minority investments from deal inception and for the entire length of our relationship with our partners.
We’re looking for a Director of Business Development & Partnerships to lead our partnerships team. Reporting to the VP, Head of Corporate Development, this person will be the lead for Hims & Hers partnerships from initial meeting, to negotiation and terms, through to execution and ongoing partner management.
This is a high impact role, with direct responsibility to our Executive Leadership team that will help define the future of Hims & Hers.
This role is for someone who has the seniority and experience to directly manage high impact partnerships, but also loves to roll up their sleeves, develop strategy, and execute day-to-day. The ideal candidate for this role thrives in a fast‑moving, high‑impact environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, and holds themselves to a high standard.
You Will- The Director will run relationships with potential partners, manage and negotiate all commercial and economic agreements, and ensure fast and efficient delivery of the goods and services we are contracted to deliver
- Run a cross‑functional process that includes working with product, engineering, legal, operations, medical teams, etc., to put in place commercial agreements for products, services, etc. that we offer to our customers
- Be comfortable working directly with the Executive Team in a fast‑paced environment
- Have experience making venture / minority investments
- Have at least some mergers & acquisitions experience (e.g., investment banking, private equity, or corporate development) to contribute to the company’s M&A priorities, though this experience is not required
- ~10+ years of experience developing and executing partnerships, working in a business development team, etc. at a fast moving company
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with the executive team of a public company is ideal
- Independent with a proven ability to deliver with limited oversight
- Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, remote‑first environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on execution
- Proficiency with financials, financial modeling, etc. is a must
- Work in consumer and/or healthcare/pharmaceutical/medical field a plus, but not required
