About the Role
Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a strategic, people-focused Senior Sales Manager to lead our internal and external consultant sales team for Cabinet Vision and Alphacam software solutions.
This role is a remote, U.S.
-based leadership position focused on driving revenue growth and sales excellence across the woodworking software portfolio used by kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom furniture manufacturers.
You’ll be responsible for leading a team of 13 seasoned external sales consultants (including direct employees and long-term contractors) while partnering with our inside sales team to ensure cohesive execution, pipeline health, and continuous improvement across a relatively short sales cycle.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and inspire a geographically dispersed team of external consultants focused on CAM software sales.
- Drive a culture of performance and accountability through clear targets, coaching, and support.
- Collaborate closely with Inside Sales and Marketing teams to align go-to-market strategy.
- Introduce fresh thinking and challenge the status quo to unlock new growth opportunities.
- Leverage a consultative sales approach to optimize sales cycles (~1 month average), including trade show acceleration.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, sales forecasts, and pipeline metrics, aligning with divisional leadership.
- Represent the Production Software business internally with key stakeholders and externally with partners and customers.
- Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team culture that values independence and proactive communication.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- Proven success leading a sales team in a technology-driven B2B environment.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate experienced, independent contributors.
- Demonstrated experience building high-performing teams with a culture of accountability and growth.
- Target-driven mindset with experience managing metrics and driving sales performance.
- Ability to influence across functions and communicate effectively with executive leadership.
- Comfortable working in a remote setting with teams across geographies.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, CNC, or woodworking industries.
- Exposure to CAM or CAD software (e.g., Cabinet Vision, Alphacam, Mastercam, Microvellum, Mosaic, etc.).
- Experience working with external consultants or independent sales contractors.
- Experience participating in or leading sales at industry events or trade shows.
Work Environment
This is a remote role based in the United States.
- Role is fully remote; requires reliable high-speed internet and ability to work independently.
