Job Summary

As the Senior Director, National Accounts Consultant, you’ll lead a talented team dedicated to supporting our largest clients (5,000+ lives) within the National Accounts Core product portfolio. Your mission is to help your team deliver an outstanding client experience, making sure our clients feel valued, supported, and confident in our partnership. You’ll guide your team to build lasting relationships, drive client retention and growth, and ensure our service always meets the highest standards.

In this role, you’ll be a champion for our clients and your team, helping everyone succeed together in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Client Management & Strategic Leadership:
    You’ll shape and evolve our client management strategy, always looking for ways to make our clients’ experience better and more personalized. You’ll be a key voice in enterprise initiatives, making sure our clients’ needs are front and center in everything we do.
  • Team Development & Capability Building:
    You’ll mentor and inspire your team, helping each member grow their skills and confidence. By setting clear expectations and encouraging ongoing learning, you’ll build a group of experts who are passionate about service and leadership.
  • Organizational Collaboration & Strategic Connectivity:
    You’ll work closely with colleagues across Sales, Underwriting, Product, Operations, and Claims to create a seamless experience for our clients. Your insights will help connect the dots between the field, Home Office, and senior leadership, ensuring we’re always aligned with what our clients need.
  • Broker & Key Stakeholder Relationship Management:
    You’ll build strong, positive relationships with brokers, consulting firms, and clients, representing our team in important conversations and helping shape our market presence.
  • Business Insights, Analytics, and Operational Advocacy:
    You’ll oversee the creation of stewardship reports and performance metrics, using data to guide our strategies and show the value we deliver. Your expertise will help turn client feedback into meaningful improvements across our organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in client management, including leadership of teams serving complex, national clients;
    Experience partnering cross-functionally to shape customer experience or GTM strategy
  • Life & Health insurance license
  • Ability to regularly travel
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or related advanced degree.
  • Prior experience leading a national client management function for Life & Disability benefits.
  • Preferred professional licensure or certification: CEBS, FLMI, or CPDM.
