Position: Consultant - Pharmacy Practice (Remote)

How you’ll make an impact

Responsible for the performance of consulting projects and the delivery of high quality, professional, and accurate pharmacy consulting services to clients under the direction of the Account Executive and/or Sr. Consultant, Health and Productivity.

  • Complete financial analysis and cost projections for Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) procurement projects, renewal evaluations and negotiations.
  • Help manage client projects and requests.
  • Create and present reports about the performance of clients’ pharmacy benefit plans against relevant industry benchmarks.
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis and manipulation projects.
  • Assist with plan design considerations.
  • Support competitive bidding (RFP process) projects and analyses.
  • Review PBM contracts and plan documents / summaries / SBCs.
  • Provide assistance with the implementation of new vendors, benefits and services.
  • Respond to client requests and gather appropriate information from vendor partners.
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings with senior team members, as requested.
  • Draft communications and review pharmacy plan benefit summaries for review and approval by the senior team members.
  • Interact with and provide feedback to vendors regarding their proposals, services and product offerings.
  • Work on special projects or assignments as instructed by supervisor.
  • Expand knowledge for clients and colleagues regarding pharmacy benefit offerings, plans and vendor offerings.
About You
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • At least 2 years of pharmacy consulting experience. (Includes Buck and prior).
  • Prerequisite: MS Office software proficiency.
  • Knowledge of PBM contracts and pricing strategies.
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a virtual environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to quickly determine critical issues.
