Scope of the RoleThe Product Manager will shape product strategies for Indoor, Outdoor, and Accessories Christmas Decor categories, aligning with company goals and maintaining the catalog lifecycle.
Reporting StructureReports to the Associate Director of Product Management and partners with cross‑functional teams across the organization.
Essential Functions &Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and market gaps, providing actionable insights.
- Own the product catalog at the SKU level, tracking each product from ideation to discontinuation.
- Evaluate when to expand, refresh, or retire products, deploying strategies that keep the catalog competitive.
- Analyze competitor products, strategies, and positioning to inform differentiation and planning.
- Develop and present comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps aligned with company goals.
- Gather, analyze, and integrate customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with product development, marketing, and sales to ensure seamless execution.
- Track and analyze product performance against KPIs, making data‑driven recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, staying ahead of market trends.
- Refine product positioning and messaging to stand out in the marketplace.
- Communicate strategy, progress, and performance to stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in product strategy or related field.
- Strong project management, analytical, and research skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools for concept design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and market research tools.
- Prior experience communicating with vendors and overseas partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Team‑orientation and strong collaboration skills.
