Pay Range for this position is: $90,000 – $115,000 plus annual bonus, depending on experience and geographical location.
Position SummaryUnder the direction of the Demand Planning Manager, the Demand Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate private‑label finished goods forecasts across multiple levels (item, item/site, segment, etc.). This role ensures alignment between customer demand and supply chain operations to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and maintain high service levels.
Primary Responsibilities- Forecasting & Analysis
- Develop accurate demand forecasts leveraging historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotional activity, and statistical modeling techniques.
- Prepare and maintain reports on forecast accuracy, bias, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Own monthly case volume projections that inform financial planning and performance analysis.
- Analyze forecast variances, identify patterns and outliers, and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy.
- Adjust forecasts proactively to account for promotions, product lifecycle changes, supply constraints, and market dynamics.
- Evaluate statistical methodologies and underlying parameters to ensure optimal model selection and performance.
- Compare system‑generated forecasts with customer‑provided statistical forecasts to validate assumptions and alignment.
- Monitor and review new product launches, ensuring accurate demand signals post‑introduction.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration & S&OP
- Lead private‑label demand review meetings.
- Drive customer insights meetings with Sales to align on customer level forecasts.
- Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
- Work closely with sales, finance, commercialization, and supply teams.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy and bias to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide data‑driven insights and recommend enhancements to forecasting processes.
- Partner with the E2open team to enhance system performance and reliability.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- 3‑5 years of direct demand planning experience.
- Technical & Analytical Skills
- Proficient in demand forecasting platforms and ERP systems, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Experienced in applying statistical models and quantitative methods to improve forecast reliability.
- Advanced computer literacy, including strong Excel capabilities (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis tools).
- Analytical expertise in interpreting complex datasets, identifying trends, root causes, and actionable insights.

- Strong communication skills to influence and align stakeholders through clear, data‑driven insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to solve problems and manage multiple priorities effectively.
