What You’ll Do- Lead, coach, and develop an outside sales team to achieve revenue, profitability, and performance targets.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with key customers, prospects, and industry partners.
- Guide the team in understanding customer needs and delivering value-based product and service solutions.
- Oversee account analysis, identify opportunities for revenue growth, and implement strategic sales initiatives.
- Ensure proactive prospecting and balanced sales coverage across all assigned accounts.
- Support the team in effectively presenting Majestic’s products, services, and value proposition.
- Ensure accurate documentation of customer activity and account information in company systems.
- Maintain ongoing customer communication, ensuring satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
- Oversee contract administration and adherence to pricing, sales processes, and operational guidelines.
- Apply performance management practices to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Participate in sales meetings, customer visits, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
- Collaborate with internal partners to support customer needs and sales execution.
- Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least ten (10) years of industrial or metal industry sales experience, with at least five (5) years in a sales leadership role
Experience with Microsoft Office products and Windows-based applications.
Skills- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of coaching and developing sales professionals.
- Ability to lead and motivate remote teams through effective virtual supervision.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales goals in competitive markets.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Resilient and solutions-focused, able to navigate challenges and maintain momentum.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, make sound judgments, and work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and interpret data effectively.
- Fifteen (15) years of industrial or metal industry sales experience, with 10+ years in a sales leadership role.
- Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively from a home office setting.
- Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.
- Frequent travel required; overnight travel up to 80%.
