Services Lead Buyer

Job Description Summary

Key member of a dynamic and growing Services team. Responsible for Sourcing and Procurement of equipment, field services and rentals for the US Service business.

• Manage parts RFQs, cost evaluations & negotiations and supplier onboarding.
• Be responsible for issuing purchase orders (PO), collecting PO acknowledgements, issuing PO change orders, leading invoice resolution activities, coordinating weekly monitoring of supplier progress to promise/need by dates and expediting suppliers.
• Maintain all PO documentation in SAP and other repositories.
• Enable faster project cycle by accelerating the procurement process while ensuring compliance.
• Drive supplier on time delivery performance while anticipating risks and escalating appropriately.
• Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
• Daily cross coordination with PPLM and Project Management teams
• Support SAP data maintenance / material creation.

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited university/college in business/technical major
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement
• Working knowledge of SAP purchasing systems

• Previous Services buying experience
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Ability to operate proactively and with a sense of urgency
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Ability to deliver to deadlines
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to work in a cross-functional matrixed organization
• Self-starter, resourceful

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $94,600.00 and $. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
