About the PositionThe Client Relationship Officer is a critical role in the organization. As the face of client service excellence, you will engage with Operating Partner Families & LPs, deliver monthly performance reporting, manage monthly meetings, and ensure diligent follow‑up on action items. Your work will drive the high levels of engagement necessary for the firm’s continued scaling.
You will bring alternative ways to enhance the lives of our families and preserve long‑term wealth. Clear, concise communication and reliable execution are essential.
What You’ll Do- Manage day‑to‑day interactions as the Client Service owner of Pennington’s Operating Partner Families and LPs.
- Collaborate with the Market Leadership Team to design and implement Client Service processes that drive high engagement; define KPIs and collect feedback to refine the engagement model.
- Contribute to the client experience roadmap and performance reporting processes to add value for Families & LPs.
- Work alongside Investment and Portfolio Management teams to promote and manage expectations that drive long‑term retention.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and Compliance to streamline the billing process.
- Prepare subscription and redemption documents for alternative investments.
- Manage client service requests and orders across custodial platforms such as Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a Client Service team in a Private Wealth Management, Private Bank, RIA, Multi‑Family Office, or similar firm, ideally serving UHNW clientele.
- Minimum 3 years of overall experience in Client Service or adjacent functions within the wealth management space.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in strategic planning, business process implementation, and business development.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities and personal integrity.
- Solid understanding of technologies such as CRM, RIA custodial platforms, portfolio management, and performance reporting.
- Ability to translate technical knowledge into business processes that increase efficiency and innovation.
- Strong data analysis, business intelligence, and performance‑metric skills.
- Rapid problem diagnosis and pattern‑recognition capabilities.
