The Regional Sales Director for the Mountain West is responsible for leading a high-performing sales team that drives profitable growth, delivers strong commercial insights, and expands Sealed Air’s presence across Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. Reporting to the Division Sales Leader, this role owns regional strategy, people leadership, distributor performance, and execution across a high-growth territory.
This role requires a strong sales leader with the ability to recruit, coach, and hold teams accountable while operating in a metrics-focused environment. The Regional Sales Director will lead a team, while spending significant time in the field supporting customer engagement, distributor partnerships, and team development.
The preferred location is within the Mountain West region, ideally Phoenix, Denver, or Salt Lake City, with extensive regional travel required.
Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership and Team Development- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Account Managers and Inside Sales professionals across a multi-state region.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain sales talent while managing performance, compensation, and ongoing development needs.
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to sales activity, pipeline health, pricing discipline, and results.
- Spend significant time in the field with the team, including ride-alongs, customer meetings, and distributor visits, typically two to three weeks per month of overnight travel.
- Own and execute the regional go-to-market strategy for an evolving, high-opportunity territory.
- Guide territory and account planning to drive growth with existing customers while identifying new opportunities.
- Lead pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance inspections using CRM and reporting tools.
- Manage a regional book of business, including goal setting, territory prioritization, and expense management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional distributors and key customers.
- Conduct regular business reviews, joint planning sessions, and pipeline discussions to expand coverage and share.
- Partner with customers to communicate value, support pricing decisions, and improve regional account performance.
- Develop strong understanding of Sealed Air’s solutions, products, programs, and market segments.
- Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable feedback for cross-functional partners.
- Support adoption of new solutions and offerings to strengthen customer value and market presence.
- Ensure consistent use of CRM, pricing tools, forecasting, and administrative processes.
- Partner closely with Sales Operations, Training, Marketing, Lead Generation, and Demand teams to support execution.
- Execute corporate programs and campaigns while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and ethical guidelines.
