Position: Senior Product Manager (Remote)

Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategy, development, and success of Altus products by translating market needs and business objectives into actionable product roadmaps. This role serves as the bridge between customers, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams; owning the product vision, prioritizing features that deliver measurable value, and ensuring seamless execution from concept through launch and iteration. The Senior Product Manager leads with deep customer empathy and data‑driven decision‑making, balancing user needs with technical constraints and business goals.

They collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver products that solve real problems, drive adoption, and contribute to company growth. Beyond day‑to‑day product execution, this role mentors junior product team members, establishes best practices for product development processes, and serves as a thought leader both internally and with external partners. Success in this role means delivering products that customers love, teams are proud to build, and that meaningfully impact key business metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Delivery & Execution:
    Drive roadmap execution by documenting clear requirements, aligning product and solution architectures, and prioritizing features to ensure development meets functional and non‑functional requirements. Manage the product backlog and collaborate with engineering, design, and business stakeholders following Altus product management processes. Balance innovation, enhancements, and maintenance within the roadmap to achieve business objectives for net retention and user/asset growth while operating within risk appetite.
  • Customer & Market Insights:
    Conduct user research and gather customer feedback to identify pain points, drive product improvements, and enhance user experience. Build relationships with clients and industry partners to validate product strategy and demonstrate market fit.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making:
    Track analytics, KPIs, and product performance metrics to make data‑driven recommendations that enhance outcomes and drive commercial success. Monitor user feedback and iterate on features to drive continuous improvement.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Partner with technology, innovation, and analytics teams to align business requirements with technical roadmaps. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders across sales, marketing, services, and senior leadership to ensure alignment on strategy and business plans. Solicit input from clients, users, and internal teams to inform priorities, delivery plans, and resource allocation.
  • Team Development:
    Mentor junior product managers and contribute to product team culture and capabilities.
Key Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10 years of relevant product management experience.
  • Experience in commercial real estate software and solutions.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Use customer insights and data to inform decision making.
  • Conducting user research and data analysis.
  • Product management and product strategy.
  • Product management development methodology and agile development practices.
  • Ability to analyze market data and user feedback to make informed product decisions.
  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and experience working closely with design teams.
