Position: Operations Coordinator (Retirement) (Remote)

Overview

Operations Coordinator (Retirement) (Remote) role at NFP, an Aon company. This role supports Plan Advisors in client service and plan sponsor/participant relationships, and works with the team on plan review/design, fund performance, pricing/re-pricing, inquiries, and development of new business.

Responsibilities
  • Support Plan Advisors with all aspects of client service and support for plan sponsors
  • Provide additional support to Admin/OPS during busy periods
  • Support client onboarding, including coordinating the development of Investment Advisory Agreements and subsequent billing arrangements
  • Coordinate the development of Investment Policy Statements
  • Work with Admin/OPS to oversee and confirm all plan change processes
  • Coordinate the development of TDF Fit Analysis reports
  • Coordinate RFP response opportunities (initiating/tracking/follow-up)
  • Support new business development activities including marketing efforts, presentation development, and meetings
  • Support Linked In ongoing advisor content profile maintenance
  • Coordinate with service providers/recordkeepers as needed to obtain necessary information
  • Answer and refer phone inquiries to appropriate destination
  • Manage/update databases
  • Use available resources to independently resolve issues for all levels of clients
  • Provide solutions to increase operational efficiencies within client and retirement plan operations
  • 2-3 days in office, travel less than 10%
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Financial advisory experience with retirement plan documentation and investment knowledge preferred
  • Superior communication and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong client service attitude, positive team player
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to serve clients and develop oneself
