Location:

Fully remote position covering the Southern California territory. Applicants must reside in Southern California.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sales prospects within the Southern CA market.
  • Gather market intelligence, generate leads, and develop proposals/campaigns to secure new loan revenue.
  • Use knowledge of markets, industries, and clients to determine demand, future trends, and potential projects.
  • Work pre-developed lead lists to identify new customer prospects.
  • Assist in marketing and support to win equipment loan transactions.
  • Interact with a large group of vendors for loan referrals, including AAA.
  • Create, modify, and manage loan administration for various products in conjunction with various groups within the bank.
  • Perform and coordinate operational requirements related to insurance, customized invoices, tracking of financial statements, processing early buy-out and loan options, etc.
  • Interface with Santander's risk management, accounting, operations, and other areas for budgetary, planning, and reporting.
  • Manage the booking process of individual loans.
  • Manage the funding process, including internal sign‑offs, funding approval, and reconciliation between documentation, equipment invoices, SAMs, and monies sent.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: At least 5 years of new business development experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent business development and selling skills; clear understanding and ability to evaluate underlying collateral and establish value to proposed requests with up-to-date knowledge of industry market conditions and trends; ability to effectively interact with risk management groups and systems within the bank.
  • Preferred Experience: Banking industry experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self‑motivated with a willingness to achieve goals.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice to Have
  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.
Compensation

Base Pay Range:

  • Minimum: $86,250.00 USD
  • Maximum: $ USD
