Role Description

This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Co‑Founder, based in the Washington DC‑Baltimore Area, with flexibility for some remote work. As a foundational partner, the Co‑Founder will exercise significant influence over Tavio’s trajectory, co‑authoring the company’s vision and architecting the roadmap for global scalability.

Responsibilities include serving as the primary architect for capital raising strategies (Seed through Series A), establishing the company’s institutional presence, and maintaining rigorous oversight of the fiscal framework. You will spearhead high‑level business development, engineer multi‑channel marketing and sales engines, and synthesize market intelligence to maintain Tavio’s position as a category disruptor. The Co‑Founder will work in lockstep with the founding team to build a lean, high‑performance organization, cultivating a culture of excellence while leading the financial and strategic evolution of the platform.

• Fundraising & Capital Architecture:
  Proven track record of navigating the venture capital landscape, with the ability to lead priced rounds, manage SAFE/convertible note structures, and secure commitments from institutional and strategic investors.
• Investor Relations & Stewardship:
  Mastery in managing the full investor lifecycle, from initial outreach and narrative‑driven pitch deck creation to managing complex due diligence processes and post‑investment reporting.
• Fiscal Strategy & Management:
  Advanced command of startup financial modeling, including unit economics (LTV/CAC), burn rate optimization, P&L responsibility, and sophisticated cap table management to ensure long‑term equity health.
• Data‑Driven Decision Making:
  Exceptional analytical prowess with the ability to transform raw financial and operational data into actionable strategic pivots and growth forecasts.
• Strategic Communication & Vision:
  Expert‑level storytelling ability, capable of articulating Tavio’s mission to diverse audiences including top‑tier VC partners, strategic hires, and industry stakeholders.
• Market Engineering & Growth:
  Deep expertise in building scalable sales and marketing infrastructure, with a focus on sustainable customer acquisition and establishing a dominant market footprint.
• Institutional Research:
  Experience in conducting rigorous competitive analysis and macroeconomic research to identify capital deployment opportunities and mitigate systemic risks.
• Foundational Leadership:
  Previous experience as a founder or early‑stage executive in a high‑growth environment, demonstrating the resilience and strategic agility required to build an industry‑leading enterprise from the ground up.
