About Tutu School

At Tutu School, we believe in magic—creating it for children through enchanting ballet classes and for entrepreneurs through a joyful, proven business model. Founded in 2008, Tutu School is a growing network of boutique ballet schools serving children ages 6 months to 8 years old, with 100+ locations across the U.S. and Canada. As a franchise-based business, we empower owners with the tools, systems, and support they need to successfully open and operate beautiful studios that make a meaningful impact in their communities.

This newly created Franchise Business Coach role is primarily focused on onboarding and launching new franchise locations, while also contributing to general franchise support and cross‑functional projects as needed to support system health and growth.

About the Role

The Franchise Business Coach is the primary guide for franchisees during their pre‑opening and early launch journey and a collaborative partner in ongoing franchise support initiatives. While this role is centered on new studio onboarding, it also supports franchisees through early growth and steady‑state operations, recognizing that meaningful ramp‑up and performance development continues well beyond opening. You will not only support franchisees one‑on‑one, but also help build, document and refine onboarding systems and workflows.

This role blends coaching, operational readiness, training facilitation, and process‑building.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new franchisees from onboarding through opening and early operations
  • Guide owners through pre‑opening milestones, ensuring clarity, momentum, and accountability
  • Coach franchisees on key launch areas including staffing, enrollment strategy, marketing execution, customer experience, and studio readiness
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to franchise owners beyond opening, with a focus on early growth and steady‑state performance during the first 1‑2 years of operation
  • Contribute to ongoing franchise coaching initiatives, including cohort‑based support and performance conversations for studios in their first years of operation
  • Support ongoing franchise coaching and system‑wide initiatives as needed to promote health, sustainable studio performance across the system
  • Use performance indicators and benchmarks to guide coaching conversations
  • Share insights and feedback with the leadership team to improve tools, processes, and training materials
  • Partner closely with internal teams to deliver a smooth, connected franchisee experience
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 3+ years of experience in franchise support, business coaching, operations, or a related role
  • Experience in children’s enlightenment and/or membership‑based franchise systems a plus
  • Strong ability to coach and motivate entrepreneurs through milestone‑driven processes
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple openings at once
  • Excellent communicator with a warm, encouraging, and confident presence
  • Comfortable improving processes while maintaining flexibility
  • Data‑informed mindset with ability to translate insights into action
  • Passion for helping others succeed and for creating joyful, high‑quality experiences—and for bringing creativity and joy into everyday work
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed
