Annual Giving Program Specialist – Michigan Giving
Job SummaryThe University Annual Giving Team (UAG) in the Office of University Development (OUD) seeks a specialist to implement annual giving plans for three campus partners:
College of Pharmacy, School of Public Health, and Center for Education of Women+. The role involves consulting with leadership, improving partnership participation, creating content, managing solicitations, and reporting results.
- Advocate for investment in donor acquisition and retention through education, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Manage partner participation and select appropriate audiences to maximize budgets and help units meet giving goals.
- Monitor unit results, conduct market research, and identify new strategic opportunities.
- Develop on‑demand reporting to evaluate donor acquisition strategies and identify new engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- One or more years of professional experience with increasing responsibility.
- Proficiency with productivity software, complex spreadsheets, and databases.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Experience with project management.

This is a full‑time, term‑limited position ending after two (2) years from the hire date. It is eligible for University of Michigan benefits and may be extended or converted to a permanent role.
This is a hybrid role. Employees must work at least two days per week in the Ann Arbor campus office located at 2301 Commonwealth Blvd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
Work ModesPositions eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually and may change at any time.
