Quantum-Systems Inc is a global leader in aerial intelligence and autonomous, AI-powered aerial robotics. We design, develop, manufacture and deliver eVTOL Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and an ecosystem of related products and services. Our business directly addresses the Defense and Security markets in North America and Latin America. We currently have an opening for a well-qualified, dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and build strategic relationships.
This position reports to the Director of Business Development.
As a Business Development Manager at Quantum Systems, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships, driving sales growth, and increasing Quantum-Systems’ overall revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAS technologies and applications, the DOD acquisition process, as well as a proven record in business development, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset.
This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, project management, customer relationship management, and business acumen to ensure successful market expansion.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the following:
- Growing existing business, generating new opportunities, and capturing new business opportunities in target UAS markets
- Developing and nurturing relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners
- Conducting market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs within the government space, acting as their primary point of contact for business development opportunities
- Customer Relationship management by ensuring regular communication with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide ongoing value through additional services or products
- Preparing and delivering compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective customers and industry stakeholders
- Collaborating with engineering, program management, and marketing teams to align offerings with market demands
- Tracking and reporting on sales metrics and performance
- Attending industry events and conferences to network and promote Quantum-Systems
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals
- Monitoring industry regulations and technological advancements affecting the UAS market
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or a related field; MBA a plus
- 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, program management, account management, or related roles within relevant UAS, military, or aerospace industries
- Experience working with the Program Executive Offices, Defense Acquisition Programs, Prime contractors, and other stakeholder organizations across Department of Defense
- Strong understanding of UAS technologies, applications, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of developing, deploying, and sustaining complex unmanned aerial systems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify, establish, and leverage key relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders within the U.S. DoD.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be a US Citizen.

- Must be willing to travel up to 50%
