Position Summary
The Client Administration Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating all client lifecycle events including onboarding, terminations, consolidations and amendments to existing mandates. The role serves as a critical central hub within the firm, ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams, external partners and clients. The officer also contributes to account data governance, process improvements and operational continuity. This role requires a solid understanding of the asset management business, collaboration with a variety of departments, and excellent client service skills.
EssentialDuties
- Client Lifecycle Management
:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants on institutional separate account lifecycle events, including onboarding, amendments, closures, custodial conversions, consolidations, and vehicle changes. - Cross-Functional Coordination
:
Manage and coordinate lifecycle events with internal stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, Investment, and Legal teams to ensure seamless execution. - Data Governance
:
Establish and maintain account data and structures in internal systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with firm standards. - Client Services Leadership
:
Act as the central liaison for Operations, Compliance, Legal, Trading Desk, and other business units, providing clear communication and issue resolution. - Process Improvement
:
Develop, implement, and enforce procedures to enhance efficiency, service quality, and client satisfaction. - Continuity of Service
:
Provide backup support for client associates during absences or transitions to maintain uninterrupted client service.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Solid working knowledge and understanding of capital markets; experience with fixed income
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Blackrock’s Aladdin systems, not mandatory
- A self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong client service and relationship building skills.
- Must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, creativity and analytical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Well organized and able to prioritize multiple requests from a variety of sources.
This role requires candidates to work from a TCW office a minimum of four days a week. Flexibility for remote work is offered on one day, depending on business needs.
Estimated CompensationBase Salary:For a CA based positions, the base salary range is 130k – 150k. This represents base salary range only.

In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
