- Perform complex data analysis related to commercial insurance, collaborating with various departments to support business objectives
- Conduct a range of analyses, including root cause, cost benefit, and performance tracking, to generate actionable insights
- Consult with client groups to identify business needs, scope projects, and prepare recommendations for senior leadership
- Partner with IT to provide business definitions, data architecture inputs, and perform User Acceptance Testing
- Create and maintain key business intelligence artifacts, ensuring accuracy and logical consistency
- Minimum of 6 years of directly related analytical experience in a related industry
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field
- Superior research, statistical, analytical, data processing, and mathematical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to make effective presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Visual Basic, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Advanced degree in a related field and/or CPCU designation
- Experience in commercial insurance
- Working knowledge of R or Python
- Experience with automating repetitive tasks
Demonstrated ability to contribute to company culture through participation in employee resource groups or similar activities
