Implementation Business Analyst
Our consultancy is looking for highly motivated and talented Implementation Business Analysts. We are looking for peak performers who have a passion for business, a joy in solving problems and a work ethic that doesn't rest until the job is done.
We are seeking a senior-level BA that has worked on projects involving system transitions or a new system build‑out. This is a hands‑on, independent role requiring someone who can operate with minimal guidance. Ideal candidates would possess 5‑10+ years of business analysis experience, with critical thinking and leadership, including experience with implementation projects. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, superior oral and written communication skills, a client service focus, and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop recommendations and implement complex solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
This role will be working with our client in the property and casualty insurance industry. Insurance industry experience is preferred. The position is 100% remote.
- Creation of presentations and reports for clients based upon analysis findings including recommendations for short‑ and long‑term improvement
- Review of subjective and objective operational information through a process of management interviews
- Facilitate client workshops and interviews to better understand, define and document requirements
- Write user stories and use cases to document the requirements uncovered during workshops and interviews with clients
- Analysis of client financial and operational data
- Work with client to perform business process modeling activities to help operationally focused software implementations
- Work on new software implementation projects related to policy admin implementations
- Strong experience following BA frameworks and methodologies
- Strong process mapping and requirements documentation skills
- Experience meeting with stakeholders to define requirements and current / future state processes
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, follow through on tasks, and move projects forward
- Experience coordinating UAT, support system testing, and assisting with go‑live activities preferred (not required)
- Change management experience preferred (not required)
- Comfortable working with non‑technical stakeholders who may have limited exposure to BA processes
- Strong communication, active listening, and follow‑through
- Personable demeanor and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong accuracy and quality‑focused mindset
- Balanced in both functional and technical BA competencies
- Strong prioritization, task/time management, and follow through
- Experience with stakeholder meeting facilitation to define requirements
- Ability to work with development/technical teams
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria (Gherkin method) is preferred (not required)
- Commercial or personal insurance experience is preferred (not required)
- Familiarity with SQL, integrations/APIs, Six Sigma, JIRA, and Visio is preferred (not required)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Client-facing experience
