What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Serve as the primary resource for the sales team on technical seed portfolio strategy and execution
  • Plan and conduct local training sessions, conferences, and experiences to enhance seed positioning
  • Collaborate with Market Development Agronomist and Sales Development Managers to develop local selling tools
  • Oversee local on-farm trials and create demo designs for seed products
  • Conduct local needs assessments to forecast production needs and identify portfolio gaps
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a business-related field with 5+ years of industry experience
  • Proven experience in coaching, training, and executing technical agronomic decisions
  • Strong understanding of seed crop growth, development, and environmental factors affecting productivity
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and be willing to travel up to 50%

  • Experience in developing and educating others on agronomy products
  • Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions and adapt quickly to changes in the industry
  • Previous experience in sales roles within the agriculture sector
