The RoleThis role is part of the International department at PRS, who are a passionate team of over 20 responsible for driving and assuring International revenues that are the highest of any Music Collective Management Organisation in the world. The department work across a range of areas including society relationship and service management, revenue assurance, and direct licensing. This is an exciting new leadership role in the International department, reporting into the Chief International Officer and part of the International leadership team.
This role will oversee PRS’s managed territories operations and cruise lines business segment, including market research, opportunity sizing, licensing activities, operational design, account management and revenue optimisation across all applicable licensee verticals. We are looking for a seasoned and inspirational leader with a commercial mind‑set, who will constantly seek to shape and innovate strategy to drive revenue growth.
- Overseeing PRS’s operations in its managed territories of Cyprus, Malta, Gibraltar, Bahamas, Bermuda and Outlying Possessions, as well as with the International Cruise Lines segment.
- Managing a UK based team, as well as various local licensing and collection contractors.
- Acting as primary PRS representative, interacting with local governments in the various jurisdictions related to tariff setting and enforcement activities.
- Supported by your team, setting out licensing targets and personally leading negotiations of complex new licenses and renewals to meet the business segments revenue targets.
- Attending PRS’s Licensing and Distribution Committee meetings as the representative of your area to secure corporate approvals as needed.
