Job DescriptionAs a Data Engineer for the HIS Data Governance team, you will support the creation of de‑identified data sets (structured and unstructured) to aid Solventum's HIS product development worldwide. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven products, enable cross‑business collaboration, and establish SOPs for retention, destruction, de‑identification, and other data governance policies.
Responsibilities- Support the creation of de‑identified data sets (structured and unstructured) for Solventum HIS product development globally.
- Implement data solutions while working closely with privacy and other business units to enable cross‑business collaboration.
- Collaborate with HIS development teams to establish SOPs for retention, destruction, de‑identification, and other data governance policies.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher AND a minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Development
OR - High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Development AND
2 years combined Data Engineering
Experience with MS SQL, MySQL, Postgre
SQL, etc.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- 2+ years Software Development in the Cloud
- 2+ years Data Governance experience
- Experience with Git Hub
- Strong skills in requirements gathering and documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Solid knowledge of healthcare and clinical data
- Remote
May include up to 10% domestic.

Benefits & CompensationSolventum offers competitive pay and benefits. For US applicants only, the expected compensation range for this position is $95,825 – $117,120, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
Additional InformationOnboarding Requirement:
New hires will be required to travel to a designated company location for on‑site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. Applies to new hires with a start date of October 1st 2025 or later.
