What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Serve as the primary resource for the sales team on technical seed portfolio strategy and execution
  • Plan and conduct local training sessions and conferences to enhance seed product knowledge among staff and retailers
  • Collaborate with Market Development Agronomist and Sales Development Managers to create effective seed selling tools
  • Oversee local on-farm trials and develop demo designs in partnership with the Market Development Agronomist
  • Assess local market needs and forecast production requirements in collaboration with seed portfolio managers
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a business‑related field with 5+ years of industry experience
  • Proven experience in coaching, training, and making technical agronomic decisions
  • Strong understanding of seed crop growth, development, and environmental factors affecting productivity
  • Ability to build working relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Must possess a current and valid state driver’s license and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in developing educational materials on agronomy products
  • Familiarity with proprietary and partnered seed brands
  • Previous experience in sales roles within the agricultural sector
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and make timely decisions
