Overview

This role is part of the On Demand team, delivering flexible procurement solutions to our education clients. You will enhance procurement processes, ensure compliance with UK regulations, and help realise savings. The role reports to the Procurement Manager and requires regular travel to client sites in the South of England.

Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive procurement advice to all organisational levels.
  • Manage relationships between clients and suppliers.
  • Embed best practice, efficiency and effectiveness in procurement processes.
  • Assist clients in achieving savings while remaining compliant with the Public Sector Procurement Act 2023.
  • Deliver a comprehensive tendering service on site with educational clients.
Qualifications
  • Proven procurement experience in the public or education sector.
  • Strong knowledge of UK public sector procurement legislation, particularly the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Experience in tendering, contract management, and benchmarking.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the South of England and manage client engagements on site.
