Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $ to $.

Job Overview

We are looking for product managers to help guide and chart a course for Grainger's generative AI solutions that will be deployed throughout the customer service center. The Product Manager contributes to the product vision and to the roadmap of future products, with a high degree of ownership over important features and the customer experience. You will work with engineering, design, and operations to develop aspects of a product.

Work in a matrix organization and can use a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers love.

You will be reporting to the Director, Product Management and will be based in Chicago or Lake Forest, IL or fully remote.

Responsibilities
  • Strategize, plan, and develop software related to Grainger’s generative AI and machine learning strategy.
  • Develop business plans using data to make recommendations that create advantage for Grainger.
  • Conceptualize customer and internal team member needs and build the product roadmap and requirements.
  • Lead a team of software engineers, data engineers, and ML Scientists, through structured work, provide ample business context and establish shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Lead software development on the management, deployment, troubleshooting, and administration of new software features.
  • Lead, communicate & coordinate product launches across all partners including business, product, and engineering teams with consideration of schedule, risk management, escalation of issues and balance tradeoffs.
