Remote Liquid Staking Backend Engineer - Folks Finance

Folks Finance is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development of new liquid staking solutions. You will be responsible for architecting, developing and maintaining backend systems to support our liquid staking products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including smart contract and backend engineers, to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure.

• Design, implement and maintain staking infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the economics team to identify and analyse staking opportunities.
• Collaborate with blockchain engineers to integrate smart contracts and SDKs for interacting with protocol.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in DeFi and blockchain technologies.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years as a Backend/Dev Ops Engineer or similar role.
• Blockchain:
  Knowledge of blockchain consensus and staking mechanisms.
• Dev Ops:
  Proficient with Dev Op practices and tools.
• AWS Services:
  Skilled working with cloud providers like AWS to build complex systems.
• Smart Contracts:
  Ability to write in Solidity with a focus on security best practices.
• Databases:
  Knowledgeable about databases and SQL.
• Version Control:
  Expertise in Git.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
