As a growing Finance & HR transformation boutique consultancy, Veran Performance is looking to bring onboard individuals who are passionate about digital transformation and proven Business Analyst. This role is the ideal opportunity for an individual with 5-10 years of experience in transformation, with specific experience in the deployment of Finance / HR / Payroll Procurement solutions.

Description of role:

• Collaborate with clients to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for HR and Finance processes.
• Map current-state processes and define future-state workflows aligned with business needs.
• Support the design and implementation of HR and Finance systems, ensuring solutions meet functional and organisational requirements.
• Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios to support UAT.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to validate requirements and support decision-making.
• Identify gaps and recommend process improvements across HR and Finance operations.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions are delivered as designed.
• Support change management activities including communications, training materials, and business readiness.
• Contribute to internal Veran initiatives and knowledge sharing within the Finance & HR Community.

About You:

We are seeking Business Analysts who are collaborative, curious, and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels. You will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in HR and/or Finance transformation programmes.

You will also bring:

• 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on HR and/or Finance transformation projects.
• Experience with SaaS HR or Finance systems (Workday, Oracle, SAP preferred).
• Strong process mapping, documentation, and requirement-gathering skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach and ability to work independently in a consultancy environment.
• A keen interest in continuous learning and professional development.

Location:

We operate a hybrid working model, typically combining office and remote work, but remain flexible to suit individual and role needs. Our teams are based across the UK, and we welcome applications from talented individuals regardless of location, provided they can attend in-person meetings when needed. Some roles may also require occasional travel to client sites, and we support our people to make these arrangements smoothly.
