The Product Management team drives Asana’s product strategy and execution, translating customer needs and opportunities into a compelling roadmap and working cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions for team productivity and collaboration. We’re helping to define the Work Management category and inventing new ways for teams to work more efficiently together and see the larger purpose behind their work. Our team works directly with Engineering, Design, Experience Research, and Data Science, as well as with Sales, Support, and Marketing to ship great products.
You’ll take part in every type of product work here — from strategy to product to process improvements — conceptualizing, launching, and iterating on Asana itself for millions of teams around the world.
We're looking for a Lead/Principal Product Manager to lead our Communications Integrations team and define the experience for our customers using Asana on the most frequently-visited channels and platforms for knowledge workers
- Google, Microsoft, and Slack. You’ll be responsible for bringing the power of Asana to these top platforms and building experiences that connect Asana AI to Gemini, Copilot, and other 3rd-party AIs and agents. You’re a seasoned product leader who has a deep empathy for customers, and excels in complex systems thinking to create a seamless customer experience. You thrive on cross-functional collaboration and are excited to partner with engineering, design, user research, product marketing, product leadership, and the rest of our amazing PM team.
This role is based in our Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. Whatyou’ll achieve
- Lead a team to build powerful, delightful experiences for users on Asana’s top integrations on Google, Microsoft, and Slack to drive user adoption, retention, and growth
- Partner closely with Google, Microsoft, and Slack to develop a shared roadmap that maximizes the reach of Asana workflows and the power of Asana AI, including how Asana’s AI interacts with 3rd-party AI on these platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and synthesize data and user inputs to identify customer problems, establish a vision, set strategy, build and ship solutions
- Partner with engineering, design, and other functions to execute on roadmaps with high velocity
- Maximize clarity by bringing a data-driven mindset to setting goals and milestones
- 6-10 years of product management experience, with majority in building and growing user-facing features in B2B SaaS products serving Enterprise customers. Candidates who've built on 3rd party platform integrations is nice-to-have.
- Systems thinker:
You can conceptualize valuable connections between user actions and notifications across different channels, and understand how these things factor into user adoption and retention. - Genuine AI enthusiasm. You're curious, adaptable, and genuinely excited about how LLMs are transforming software discovery and adoption. Experience with AI/ML products, LLM APIs, is nice to have.
