DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The Marketing Planning team collaborates with our business partners and Marketing experts to design world-class marketing strategies, and campaigns that drive shareholder value and customer loyalty. Our team acts as consultants on all aspects of marketing, influencing the business strategy, while also ensuring the TD brand is protected. The Marketing Planning Intern role is key to assisting the delivery of advertising campaigns that drive mass acquisition of Canadian Chequing and Savings products. This role requires a strategic marketing mindset, the ability to develop new initiatives and bring them to life, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to manage the execution of all plans.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Insights & Trends: Understand, research, and provide insights on competitive offers, products, and digital landscape for the business.
Marketing Strategies:
Translate business strategies into marketing plans, working with key partners to deliver your vision
Work closely with our Digital and Creative Center of Excellence Partners on content development, and digital optimizations.
Define opportunities for continued enhancements to business processes and make recommendations within assigned areas of responsibility.
Relationship Management: Work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision; establish priorities, and use your strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to each project you are assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution with an undergraduate degree or diploma in Business/Commerce, Marketing, Finance, or related field; with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
A self-motivator with excellent organizational and communications skills to prioritize and multi-task in a collaborative or independent setting
Demonstrated leadership through volunteer activities, community involvement or related experience
Problem solving skills and proven analytical capabilities
Quantitative ability to draw insights from data
English and French Bilingual is an asset
Excellent verbal communication and written communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 4th – August 21st,
2026.
