Purpose
Reporting to the Vice President Pipeline Development AIR, the Launch Excellence Lead AIR will create, refine and manage cross‑functional processes and tools to enable industry and class‑leading launches for Phase 3 assets and new indications, with Chiesi’s focus on patient, innovation and agility.
Main Responsibilities

Create and manage a consistent and robust launch process and governance (pre‑launch, launch and hyper‑care post‑launch).
Establish a standardized launch readiness approach across brands, leveraging existing best practices or creating new ones.
Define key performance indicators, establish reporting dashboards and cadence.
Collaborate with regional business partners and coordinate launch readiness review assessments.
Work with key program/brand stakeholders to ensure completion of launch readiness tasks.
Integrate launch readiness into existing strategy, brand and financial planning processes and deliverables.
Work with internal stakeholders to identify and implement key enabling tools.

Experience Required

7+ years proven experience managing complex cross‑functional initiatives in a commercialization environment.
Demonstrated success in commercial planning and launching products.
Experience managing competing priorities and ensuring timely delivery of project tasks.
Experience in pre‑launch or launch excellence processes preferred.
Global experience preferred.
Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles.
Exceptional skills with Smartsheet, MS Project, Visio and MS Office Suite.

Education
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or PMI certification strongly desired.

Location
The role can be based within the European Union in countries where Chiesi has a legal entity, with estimated travel approximately at 10% of the time.
