Finance Data Analyst - Apprenticeship at Siemens, Milan
Overview
We are looking for a Finance Data Analyst who will be trained for 2 years as an apprentice in Milan within the Digital Industries area. During the apprenticeship you will receive comprehensive training to develop your personal and professional skills and you will have the support of a mentor to achieve your career steps.
Responsibilities
Develop advanced visualization dashboards and KPI reports for the Finance organization using Power BI, Excel, Mendix.
Generate insights from data to support decision making, business management and strategy execution.
Act as the key point of contact for all BI related tools in Finance, maintain applications and ensure master data governance.
Ensure transparent, reliable and context‑relevant data for sound decision making.
Identify and highlight issues affecting business performance or opportunities for improvement.
Support the implementation of process improvements and new business applications across the Business.
Adhere to deadlines and deliverables while balancing accuracy and efficiency.
Review and clean‑up tools, dashboards and master data governance.
Qualifications
You are under 30 years of age, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract.
A degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration/Accounting is desirable.
Sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
Previous experience or passion in data analytics.
Knowledge of SAP R/3 (SPIRIDON) is a plus.
Result and quality orientation with high attention to detail.
Strong analytics skills and proficiency in English and Italian.
Strong organisation, time management, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility to work in Italy.
Team player ability and strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a changing environment and passion for continuous growth.
