The Contract Manager’s main responsibility is to oversee all aspects of the company’s negotiations, obligations and implementation related to contracts’ procurement and documentation. The holder of the role is responsible for negotiating contracts, advising management and supervising the accuracy, overall compliance and implementation of contracts. The Contract Manager also acts as a liaison and as central point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders throughout the process.
Responsibilities- Creates and manages standard and/or high‑risk contracts in accordance with company’s policies for internal and external implementation
- Actively participates in the preparation and negotiation of the terms and conditions of contracts by developing contract and procurement documentation.
- Identifies the requirements, duties and obligations of the company under contracts to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Ensures the organization’s internal contract documentation is accurate and well maintained while providing advice and guidance to the different stakeholders relating to contract generation
- Highlights and consults on contract variations, exemptions, extensions etc
- Monitors, evaluates and reports on risk and contract performance against KPIs and requirements, and implements strategies to drive value
- Develops and maintains relationships with independent contractors, vendors, suppliers and potential customers
- Facilitating legal discussions around unresolved contract issue while also explores innovative procurement and contract management solutions to solve complex contractual issues
- Leads the review of expiring contracts and uses the results to shape the future procurement strategy to deliver enhanced outcomes.
- At least 8 years of experience in contract development and/or management or relevant project management experience preferably in the Cyber Security or IT industry on both private and public sector
- Deep understanding of contracts, contracts governance, contractual language, and the contract lifecycle combined with demonstrated commercial acumen
- Ability to deal effectively with confidential information, well-organized and capable of meeting deadlines
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, Information Security, Business Management or related field
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience in negotiation, with the ability to engage effectively and manage relationships with all stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to prepare complex procurement and technical documents, and communicate effectively
- Able to quickly step into new fields and become expert on new products or services while being fully aligned with the company’s expectations and principles
