Position: Logistics Intern, On-Site (1 Year Full-Time Temporary Contract)
Kick‑start your career in supply chain and logistics by joining our team as a Logistics Intern. In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of operational and strategic activities—from supplier outreach and competitive sourcing to shipment processing and data analytics. You’ll collaborate closely with key business stakeholders, support the rollout of new digital platforms, and contribute to process improvements that drive efficiency and savings across the organization.
This internship is ideal for someone who’s curious, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn how modern supply chains operate while helping our teams adapt to ongoing change. If you’re ready to build real‑world expertise and make a meaningful impact, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities
Assist Supply Chain with supplier outreach, supplier assessments, competitive sourcingWork with key business stakeholders to process requestsProcess shipments and relevant paperworkCreate purchase requisitionsDevelop meaningful data analytics for presentations and to support negotiationsSupport implementation of digitized platforms, including the launch of Invoice Audit and Coding system and the development of internal support documentsSeek opportunities to drive savings to and efficiencies for the business and implement new processes or suppliers as neededFocus on change management strategies to further support colleagues, internal customers, and external partners as our business overall adapt to changeResearch markets to assist in strategy development and development of market expertiseOther tasks as assignedCompetencies
Are currently in or has recently graduated from a supply chain college or university program.Ability to commute to our head office in Burlington, ON, 5 days a week.Excellent customer service skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Excel.Ability to speak French will be considered an asset.Our Offer
