Role Overview

We are looking for a results‑oriented, self‑starter Business Development Manager passionate about learning new software solutions that enable upper‑market companies to achieve financial and operational excellence. You will work independently with a dynamic and entrepreneurial spirit, engaging with C‑Level decision makers to understand customer problems and position solutions. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely and periodic on‑site engagements.

Key Responsibilities Customer research and profiling
  • Rely on your own network, tools and skills to source leads.
  • Understand and articulate the Synerg

    ERP and software value proposition.
  • Identify clients that fit the vertical and target market.
  • Sell a solution, not just a product.
  • Maintain CRM and reporting requirements.
Generate new sales
  • Schedule appointments with decision makers.
  • Overcome obstacles in reaching decision makers.
  • Use cold calling, Linked In, networking, conferences, events and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline; SQO’s are monitored monthly.
Task and process management
  • Follow the prescribed Synerg

    ERP sales methodology.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Present and articulate the value proposition.
  • Obtain client buy‑in for the sales methodology.
  • Coordinate stakeholders for successful product demonstrations.
Negotiating and closing
  • Promote business cases for change and ROI.
  • Pre‑empt and manage objections.
  • Understand clients’ buying and decision‑making process.
  • Obtain and assess pricing for reasonability and accuracy.
  • Prepare professional, detailed tailored proposals.
Continuous relationship building
  • Be a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Know when to involve internal stakeholders at client engagements.
  • Educate the client throughout the process.
  • Provide content, resources and tools to aid informed decision‑making.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Synerg

    ERP’s business partners.
Attending Networking Events and Conferences
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking functions to generate new leads.
  • Expand the professional network by meeting potential clients and industry professionals.
  • Leverage networking opportunities to stay updated on industry trends and gather insights for future strategies.
Experience & Qualifications
  • A degree in Business Management, Accounting or a similar field (required).
  • Finance, ERP or software sales experience (required).
  • Experience in solution/consultative selling (required).Experience dealing with C‑suite decision makers in large organisations (required).
  • Accounting / business background (beneficial).
  • Established network in nonprofits, professional services, healthcare, financial services (beneficial).

  • Proven ability to identify, qualify, and win new clients through a hunter‑driven approach.
  • Consultative sales capability with strong client‑needs focus and tailored solutions.
