Capgemini’s Manufacturing, Automotive & Life Sciences (MALS) market unit is seeking a motivated and ambitious Client Manager focused on the UK Automotive Sector.
Someone who is ready to lead with confidence and help shape the future of our business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong relationships and driving growth in key areas of our client accounts, with the opportunity to expand our presence across the sector.
Your role- Create new opportunities by building strong, trust‑based relationships with clients and identifying ways to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
- Listen deeply and think creatively—understand our clients’ needs, align with Capgemini’s strengths, and co‑create solutions that deliver real value.
- Champion your clients’ success by developing a deep understanding of their goals and challenges, and helping them navigate toward meaningful outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Capgemini’s service lines to shape and execute a winning account strategy.
- Lead with confidence—from shaping proposals to working alongside subject matter experts, architects, and delivery teams to bring ideas to life.
- Facilitate engaging workshops that spark demand, uncover client needs, and match them with the right solutions.
- Drive delivery excellence by participating in reviews and ensuring we consistently exceed expectations.
- Hold full P&L responsibility for the assigned strategic account, ensuring financial performance, growth, and profitability across the client portfolio.
- Team spirit and flexibility to support other deals outside of your area, when needed.
- Experience in managing client relationships.
- Knowledge around relevant technology solutions, operating models and a view of business‑critical outcomes and success factors.
- A mix of commercial/business and consulting experience.
- Experience working with commercial models, estimation techniques, pricing trends, and SOW documents.
- Ability to innovate and constructively challenge the status quo to drive the business forward.
- Able to operate with a high degree of independence as well as being part of a team.
- An understanding of the Life science industry.
Hybrid working:
The work location will be a blend of company offices, client sites, and home; you will not be able to work from home 100% of the time.
Security clearance:
Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks required. No nationality or residency restrictions, but further checks may be required if residing outside the UK in the last 3 years.
