Join Insurance Office of America as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. Work remotely from Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington; hybrid 1–2 days in Tucson, AZ. Manage a book of general contractor and project accounts, retain clients, and grow new business.
About the RoleManage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business. Coordinate day‑to‑day administrative and customer‑service activities, resolve complex issues, and ensure no errors or omissions.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
- Direct daily activities of the account‑management team.
- Handle customer‑service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
- Manage policy expirations and renewals.
- Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
- Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
- Maintain agency‑management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy.
- Monitor and maintain activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate frequently and transparently with the team regarding workload and issues.
- Deliver excellent service, proactively anticipating needs and responding quickly.
- Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
- Seek and adopt best practices to improve performance.
- Demonstrate integrity and leadership, championing IOA values.
- 3+ years of account‑management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
- Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
- Required active property & casualty licensing; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Exceptional customer‑service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).

The expected pay range for this position is $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year, depending on experience and relevant skills.
