Our Replenishment Buyers play a key role in maintaining optimal inventory levels at our OpCo's (Operating Companies, distribution centers) and high fill rates to ensure best‑in‑class service levels to Vistar’s customers. Successful Buyers are analytical and detail oriented.

• Purchasing Execution:
  Place Purchase Orders to ensure timely and cost‑effective procurement to drive optimal customer fill rates
• Inventory Management:
  Analyze and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and are maintained for assigned area(s) of responsibility
• Forecasting:
  Leverage and build on knowledge of forecasting and inventory management systems
• Risk Mitigation:
  Identify and mitigate risks in the inventory and purchasing process
• Sales and Supplier Partnership:
  Work cross‑functionally with Sales team on customer demand and inventory strategies, while maintaining strong supplier relationships to drive purchasing and supply chain efficiencies

  Collaboration:
  
  Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of inventory and purchasing activities
• Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with Vistar (PFG) and SOX policies and procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Our Buyers are able to work from home 1 day/week after onboarding period.

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• Purchasing experience or planning or equivalent merchandising experience

$55-65k with 15% annual bonus potential
