Job SummaryCCL Hospitality is seeking an Associate Director of Business Development, who shares our values, wants to work with a team of great individuals, and who is committed to being part of our success. Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Sales, the Associate Director of Business Development will support our sales team and play a key role in the growth of the CCL Hospitality portfolio in the national market.
This position supports the sales team for Behavioral Health prospects nationally. While this position is remote, travel is required 20–50% of the time. The ideal candidate will live in the Central Time Zone but would consider those located near major airports.
This role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, sales‑focused individual seeking to grow into a Director of Business Development role.
Responsibilities- Managing our CRM database and maintaining accurate and timely records.
- Identifying key targets and new business opportunities.
- Conducting extensive research on key targets.
- Developing and executing a prospecting strategy for key targets, including collateral development and campaigns.
- Participating in and supporting the deal/proposal development in collaboration with internal subject‑matter experts (site tours, creative proposal writing and development, pricing strategy and financial modeling, etc.).
- Supporting the contract process.
- Travel when necessary – approximately 20–50%.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in a business development role in the food service management industry preferred.
- Desire to learn and grow within the role eventually progressing to a Director of Business Development within Compass Group.
- Ability to build and foster relationships with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Ability to understand financials.
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office, CRM databases, Excel, etc.).
- High energy, positive attitude and excellent communication/presentation skills.
- Flexible and able to shift priorities with ease.
- Strong time‑management skills with the ability to multi‑task.
- Resourceful and willing to take initiative to get things done.
- Excellent listening skills and a propensity for continual learning.
