The Role:
In this role, you will manage the procurement activities for purchasing of specialist equipment including responsibility for tender processes, supplier relationship management, effective contract management, and KPI reporting.
What we are looking for:
We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam's mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.
- Proven experience in International Purchasing and Supply, tendering and Contracts Management
- Experience in risk management, negotiation including supplier performance management
- Strong in-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management including customs and freight regulations
- Strong analytical skills to meet diverse problems solving challenges and conduct pre and post activity analysis
- A high level of adaptability to deal with rapidly changing operational situations whilst maintaining core standards and procedures at all times
- Experience in/ understanding of the International Aid sector
