We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic Main Contracts team. This is a 360° role where you’ll manage the full lifecycle of automatic sprinkler system projects - from design to installation - ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the full life cycle of construction-based projects, focusing on the design, procurement, and installation of automatic sprinkler systems.
- Collaborate across departments, supervise engineers and subcontractors, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with key industry regulations including BSEN 12845, BS9251, NFPA, and FM Global; conduct regular site audits; attend handover and coordination meetings; and manage all project documentation.
- Support the training and development of junior staff to contribute to a high-performing team.
- Prepare and manage risk assessments, method statements, COSHH documentation, and maintain accurate as-fitted drawings and project records.
- Collaborate with internal teams, support junior engineers, and foster strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Contribute to company initiatives, training, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Experience in a similar sprinkler project management role.
- Knowledge of BSEN 12845, BS9251, NFPA, FM Global standards.
- Competency in AutoCAD 2D and hydraulic calculation software (e.g., FHC).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
