Workplace:
Hybrid ( #LI-Hybrid ), Remote ( #LI-Remote ) - depending on candidate location.

Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office.

• Responsible for managing and enhancing personal lines product performance in assigned region by leveraging insights across a variety of internal and external sources, conducting root cause analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• This position may lead and manage others.

• Analyzes internal and external data to fully understand profit, production, competitive position and market trends to develop strategies to drive profitable growth.
• Responsible for profits/losses in assigned product/territory.
• Develops long- and short-term plans for their assigned product/territory with State Executives.
• Leverage market research to identify growth opportunities within the assigned product/territory.
• Takes leadership role in special projects as assigned by State Manager.
• Work with underwriting team to adjust appetite to improve performance, profitability, and agent experience.
• Collaborate with internal partners in Underwriting, Analytics, Actuarial, IT, and Claims to understand profitability, market opportunities and potential system changes.
• Trains and develops product analysts.
• Coordinates state and home office legislative and regulatory affairs providing input on key bills and regulation.

• This role, whether performed virtually or in an office setting, will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
• Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
• Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance.
• Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
• Visually verifies and reads information.
• Visually locates material, resources and other objects.
• Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
• Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
