Summary

As a YA Regional Consultant you will provide high quality consulting services relating to property restoration, property defects, casualty, and losses of significance for YA’s customers, which include insurance companies, third‑party adjusters and independent businesses and insureds. YA Regional Consultants are responsible for managing each of our clients’ business and operations in defining and controlling costs associated with damaged structures. Regional Consultants are expected to use a large measure of independent judgement, considering and weighing alternatives when appropriate, regarding the financial and operational significance of the services being performed.

• Conduct inspections and field assessments to evaluate structure and property damage for clients.
• Review and synthesize relevant information to prepare damage estimates, scopes and project reports.
• Manage field work on large, multi‑consultant projects.
• Perform analysis of invoices, budgets, schedules and report on behalf of the clients.
• Operate on behalf of clients to monitor and manage timelines, expenses and other factors critical to operational efficiency and cost management during all phases of construction.
• Communicate and correspond regularly with clients, insurance companies, adjusters and insureds.
• Lead regular client meetings and support business development initiatives.
• Provide technical oversight and support and management to more junior consultants.
• Maintain job files, documentation and other relevant deliverables.
• Manage and oversee clients’ interactions, supporting and mentoring junior consultants.
• Provide quality control reviews of junior consultant work product prior to submission to the client.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7‑10 years of relevant construction, restoration, project management or insurance experience.
• Advanced Xactimate experience required.
• WRT, FSRT, HAAG or other appropriate industry certificates or certifications.
• Ability to travel required.

$61,000 – $98,000 + bonus opportunity. Title and pay will be commensurate with experience.

This is a fully remote position. However, candidates must be located in or around listed cities, such as Kansas City, MO.
